Brothers and Sisters,
In a time of great need for our community, dozens showed up at the Union Hall to participate in Local 7’s blood drive on Wednesday. This event was held in partnership with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and the Kraft Family Blood Donor Center.
The nation’s blood supply has seen drastic reductions due to COVID-19 and last year’s harsh winter. Blood drives were canceled in 30 states due to weather. The blood donated yesterday will benefit patients at Dana-Farber and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
