Brothers and Sisters,
In 2019, the Building Trades Employers’ Association (BTEA) launched the Building Trades for Recovery campaign to raise awareness about the disproportionate impact that the opioid crisis has on the construction industry.
Iron Workers Local 7 is honored to participate in initiatives such as this, and also to lead our own recovery efforts both within our union hall and out in our community.
We encourage everyone to check out this video from the first-ever Building Trades for Recovery conference and also to explore the many resources (below) available to members struggling with substance abuse or addiction.
- Iron Workers Local 7 Resources
- Mass Building Trades (featuring daily meeting opportunities!)
- Building Trades for Recovery
- Modern Assistance
If you or someone you know is struggling, please do not hesitate to reach out to our union hall or to one of these incredible resources for support.
In Solidarity,
