Brothers and Sisters,
We are disappointed to share that Republicans in the New Hampshire Senate are attempting to eliminate project labor agreements (PLAs) on public construction projects through Senate Bill 274.
Senate Bill 274 will undermine working families, lower community standards, and harm workers. Together, we must make our voices heard and stop the passage of this bill.
Please take a few minutes to fight for New Hampshire working families. Call or email your legislators and demand that they vote NO on Senate Bill 274.

PLAs require that contractors bidding for public work meet area standards on wages, benefits, training, and safety. They help even the playing field with irresponsible contractors who underbid on projects and cut corners. PLAs also ensure that construction projects are completed efficiently and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.
Just this year, President Biden signed a historic executive order requiring the use of PLAs on federal construction projects. Now, through Senate Bill 274, Republicans in the NH Senate are taking a giant step backward at the expense of working families.
But we know that there is strength in numbers. If all of our union brothers and sisters rally together and fight back against this anti-worker attack, we can win for working families statewide. Every voice matters, please contact your legislators today!
