Next week, donate blood to help save lives

Brothers and Sisters,

For many hospitals during COVID-19, keeping blood donations in full supply has proven to be a challenge. One in every three people will need blood at some point in their life, but right now, there are shortages across the country.

That’s why we’ve arranged for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital Blood Mobile to park at the Union Hall next Wednesday, May 26.

Your donation can mean the gift of life for our friends, family, and neighbors in need. We encourage you to make an appointment to donate.

Local 7 Blood Drive
Wednesday, May 26
11:30 AM – 6:00 PM
195 Old Colony Ave, South Boston, MA (front parking lot)

If you are well, we encourage you to make an appointment. Walk-ups will be accommodated as time allows. People who have recently received the COVID-19 vaccine are eligible to donate blood, provided you are symptom-free and feeling well.

Thank you for helping make a difference for those in need.
