Help feed families in need

Brothers and Sisters,

Food insecurity is at an all-time high right now. Due to COVID-19, food banks across Massachusetts have seen a 59% increase and one in eight families are facing hunger.

We need to look out for our communities. That’s why we’re stepping up this weekend to address this critical need.

If you’re heading to the store, please consider picking up some groceries for one or both of the following food drives this weekend:

Saturday, March 27, 9 AM – 12 PM:
Norfolk Labor Council and The United Way of Mass. Bay Food Drive, 120 Winter Street in Weymouth, MA

Sunday, March 28, 10 AM – 3 PM:
NEXT Committee Food Drive for Unite Here Local 26, 195 Old Colony Avenue, Boston, MA

Non-perishable donations like canned stews and meats, rice, cooking oil, cereal, peanut butter, and pasta are most needed.

Thank you for your support and generosity.
