Brothers and Sisters,
This week, the Local 7 Retiree Association was pleased to donate over $8,000, raised from this year’s golf tournament, to the Boston Higashi School for Autistic Children.
Autism, or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech, and nonverbal communication. According to the CDC, autism affects an estimated 1 in 44 children in the United States.
The Boston Higashi School’s mission is to help children and young adults with ASD learn to reach their full potential by providing a broad curriculum that includes academics, art, music, physical education, technology, and social education.

We thank you for your donations this year and for your ongoing dedication to our community!
In Solidarity,
